Although Hugh has not been supporting the team from its home stadium in Carrow Road, the Wolverine owned the shirt when Norwich won the 1985 League Cup. Nonetheless, the last season must have been a painful one to watch for Hugh as Norwich City was relegated to from the Premier League, but the silver lining is that Norwich is currently sitting at the second-place of the Championship and is looking forward to promotion back to the Premier League next season.

Having played the sport since he was ten, he has said that the World Cup means everything to him as a lifelong football fan. Qatar 2022 will be the sixth time Australia has qualified for the World Cup and their best result was the last 16 stage finish in Germany 2006. The Socceroos are in Group D, with its opponents being the defending champions, France, Tunisia and Denmark.
